In 2016, I created the Research agency for biodiversity in Réunion – Agence de Recherche pour la Biodiversité à la Réunion (ARBRE).

ARBRE aims to contribute in the understanding, monitoring, management and conservation of biodiversity (marine and terrestrial) in Reunion and in the Indian Ocean. ARBRE circulates information to all audiences and it is a driving force in participatory science. . It allows to gather the necessary knowledge for the processing in the regional scheme of ecological coherence. Since 2020, it has the approval of environmental protection.
